Please email us . Pear Tree Cottage is proud to offer free design programs throughout the year  for our customers .  All programs and demonstrations are professionally lead by interior designers and decorators as well as landscape designers.  They are all held at the shop.

June 2010 : Container Gardening Seminar with Amy Strunk, landscape designer, from Merrifield Garden Center.  Amy demonstrated how we can transition our garden containers from Summer into Fall. 

Thank you to those who attended our breast cancer fundraiser, "Bake for Hope"  in May 2010.  We raised $2,550 to benefit local affiliates of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure!    We had a few hundred people come out to support this great cause. 

April 2010 Terrarium Seminar:  In April we had a seminar, "Life Under Glass", on creating terrariums.  Our guest speaker was the fantastic Amy Strunk, landscape designer, from Merrifield Garden Center.  She posted several seminar photos and "how tos" on her blog.

November 2009 Seminar: November was on, "Holiday Decorating with Fresh Greenery" with Amy Strunk, from Merrifield Garden Center.  Each participant  created thier own arrangement to take home.  You can read about that  seminar with step-by-step instructions from the My Notting Hill Blog.
